Last weekend I received the Jensen Blackbird 40 I won through Tonepedia‘s giveaway. I put it into my Fender Twin Amp and had a great time jamming. I had never tried any alnico speaker before and it really impressed me: it’s quite punchy, very detailed in the high end and really deep in the low end without sounding muddy at all. Cleans are outstanding and honestly I didn’t expect it to sound so good with distortion aswell. I guess it will make a great addition to my ever-expanding speaker arsenal, thanks to Jensen & Tonepedia for this gift!
