My name is Danilo Battocchio and I’m an audio engineer based in Turin, Italy.
I play guitar, bass and make weird sounds out of other equipment. As a musician I have been involved in projects such as Last Minute To Jaffna, Tutti I Colori Del Buio and Grams among others.
I started messing with audio interfaces and recordings during my teenage years in the late 90s but I didn’t get officially involved in the music industry until 2004. Since then I’ve been working at several venues/festivals/productions in my local area, extensively toured Europe with several bands (including appearances at festivals like Arc’Tan’Gent, Brutal Assault, Desertfest, Damnation, Duna Jam, Hellfest, Incubate, Motocultor, Resurrection, Roadburn, Tyrant, SWR) and engineered more than 50 records.
I’ve worked with bands signed to labels like Century Media, Consouling Sounds, Heavy Psych Sounds, Metal Blade, Neurot, Relapse, Season Of Mist, Southern Lord, Svart, Universal and more.

Besides doing sound, I love to mess with amplifiers, cabinets, guitars/basses and pedals. I can do repairs on guitar/bass electronics, some small luthiery jobs on instruments, some minor repairs/maintenance on amplifiers and customize pedals to match players’ needs.
