I’m pretty happy because street/glam is not my usual cup of tea, but this album turned out pretty well. Plus, Paolo Parpaglione played sax on Filthy (originally released by Nick Curran) and recording him – after having seen him playing lots of times with Africa Unite when I was a kid – felt like closing a circle.
