Taken from the yet untitled TICDB’s new album sessions, here comes this track, released by The New Noise on their Vol. 4 compilation. It’s a cover of Nerorgasmo’s Io Mi Amo.

It’s been tracked by me and Paul Beauchamp at OFF Studio, then I reamped, mixed and mastered it at Deepest Sea.

Lots of news!

Many things happened in the last few weeks and many are to come.

First of all, I just got back from a 2 weeks tour with my buddies in Stearica. 11 gigs in 14 days, hitting Belgium, Germany, Italy and Spain, gloriously ending at AM Fest in Barcelona with Davide stagediving while playing with his sticks. Here you can find the video of Nur at AM Fest

While we were on tour, Marco Di Nocco released his drumcover video of Yelawolf’s Marijuana, which has been recorded, mixed and mastered by me. Here’s the video.

Last but not least, this week The Worst Horse finally released their debut EP, again recorded and mixed by me, and mastered by the mighty Lorenzo Stecconi.

Here comes Bolle & Rock’n’Roll by I Derelitti, a protopunk/garage band from Torino who came to me last springtime to record a couple tracks which ended being their goodbye single.

Quite different stuff for me, a heavily melodic pop production, but still I enjoyed challenging my usual work routine.

Varvara Festival 2015

This year’s Varvara Festival for what I’m concerned ended with these words posted by Cindytalk: “the sound (…) was immense – brilliant soundsystem with outstanding engineers. Big thanks to them too”

For me and Stefano Genta it’s been 6 days of work in a odd venue, doing sounds on two stages, operating an Avid Venue console (which was kinda new to me), but it’s definitely been a pleasure to work in for such inspiring people as Cindy, Larsen, Paolo Spaccamonti, Ancient Methods, Fukte, Cut Hands, Sleeparchive, Phurpa, Space Aliens From Outer Space and Gianni Giublena Rosacroce.

I’m looking forward to next year!

Tour with Ufomammut

I ended the summer doing a few gigs with Ufomammut in Spain and Portugal. I was stoked to get the chance to work with one of my favourite bands of the last 10 years.

Here comes a video excerpt of their set at Reverence Festival in Valada, Portugal. Again, we hadn’t soundcheck but I’m really satisfied soundwise.
